Digital Nova Scotia needed a program that would take mid-career learners from "aware of data and AI" to "ready for an intermediate role." Demand was high, time was short, and the program had to work fully virtually across Atlantic Canada.
What we did together
Your Growth Edition program combined structured technical content, weekly live TA sessions, hands-on assignments, a capstone project, industry panels, and mentorship. AI-First led the Data Analytics + AI stream, built the capstone structure, ran the live sessions, and supported learners through office hours.
Outcomes
- 226 participants across both streams (124 in Data Analytics + AI, 102 in Cybersecurity)
- 644 applications received for 226 available seats
- 88% program completion rate, 199 learners finished
- 96% of respondents said they would recommend the program to others
- 87% to 90% learner satisfaction across streams
- 86.6% reported increased confidence in working in Data and AI or Cybersecurity roles
- 87.5% said they strengthened their technical skills
- 70.1% said they improved their understanding of the tech industry
- 55.6% added a capstone project to their portfolio
