AI Accelerator

Nautel: the full Accelerator, 50 engineers

Radio broadcast transmitter manufacturer, Hackett's Cove NS

AI-First Accelerator, full tier. 8 sprints across approximately 50 participants in engineering, production, sales, customer service, and leadership.

The situation

Nautel's teams were already curious about AI. Some engineers were using ChatGPT on the side, a few managers had tried Copilot, but there was no shared policy, no clear sense of what data was safe to use, and no single place to go for help. Leadership wanted AI to move from "a few people experimenting" to "a capability the whole company can build on."

What we did together

Your Nautel Accelerator covered strategy, policy, training, and eight hands-on sprints. Employees chose the problems they wanted to solve, worked in small groups with an AI-First strategist, and walked out with tools they built themselves. The sprints ranged from customer service document search to root cause failure analysis to a sales dashboard.

Outcomes

  • 92% of participants reported their AI skills increased (46 of 50)
  • 76% reported their AI use at work increased (38 of 50)
  • 60% are already saving 10% or more time on the tasks where they use AI
  • 8 sprints delivered across 12 sprint participants, with 10 of 12 landing a working solution or pilot
  • 10 of 12 sprint participants were satisfied or very satisfied with the sprint format
  • Specific wins the team surfaced: 30% cut in contract risk review time, 90% time reduction on formula and Matlab scripting, an inventory count that went from manual counting to under a minute using a photo and Gemini

What the team said

Before the program, I felt unsure about using AI at work. Now I feel more confident in the tools and what is available to me.

Notetaking used to eat most of my meetings. Now I spend more time listening and participating.

Worth noting

Not every team member landed in the same place by the end. Some were ready to run, a handful still felt the setup cost outweighed the payoff for their specific work. That is what real adoption looks like across 50 people, and it is the reason your Accelerator builds in sprints, policy, and ongoing support that carry forward.
